Brij Gupta, DVM, PhD

Welcome to SimpleVet Pet Hospital!!

It is my immense pleasure to introduce myself. I am the “Owner Veterinarian” of SimpleVet Pet Hospital. My name is Dr. Brij Kumar Gupta, and I am a compassionate Veterinarian with more than 11 years of extensive experience in small animal medicine. I earned a DVM from Pondicherry University, India in 2007. Subsequently, I also earned a doctorate in Biomedical Sciences and successfully completed my Veterinary Certification/ECFVG board in 2012. I have been practicing Veterinary Medicine since then to serve our beloved pets and clients. 

I believe in providing the best quality veterinary care at an affordable cost and in practicing evidence-based medicine. I have a special interest in soft-tissue surgeries, dentistry, chronic disease management, dermatology, internal medicine, and wellness care. I aspire to provide an enjoyable experience and a trusted environment for both pets and clients.

I live locally here in Denton with my wife and two lovely kids. In my free time, I like to play tennis, listen to good music, and spend time with my family.

I look forward to serving you and your fur babies!

Hi, my name is Brianna! I’ve been working in the veterinary hospital environment for over a year now, and I truly enjoy being able to help our patients and their owners. I’m also a full-time student at the University of North Texas, pursuing a degree in accounting. While I’m still figuring out what career path God wants me to take, I’m thankful for the chance to grow and learn in the process.

Outside of work and school, I love traveling, dancing, praising god, eating good food, and spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, Bella.
